Dr. Marilyn Elie Joseph is a member of the CMBM Faculty and Supervision Team in Haiti. She currently leads Mind-Body Skills Groups in in-person and online modalities. She found that CMBM tools were powerful and efficient in her own post-traumatic history, and is committed to doing this work at the highest possible level to help heal her Haitian congeners.

Dr. Joseph is a pediatrician with more than 30 years of clinical experience. Participating in the social and health development of Haiti, she has overseen accreditation and quality control of health services at the Ministry of Health and Population of Haiti and is a Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Haiti for social and economic development projects. Dr. Joseph is also a teacher of Project Management at the Government Institute: ENAF. She has also taught the management of minor pediatric emergencies to kindergarten teachers. In 2019, Dr. Joseph co-founded GREMETH, a multidisciplinary research group specializing in traditional medicine in Haiti.

Dr. Joseph earned her Master’s in Health Administration from Montreal University and her MD from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of State University of Haiti. She completed her training in Pediatrics at the State University Hospital of Haiti.
