Sheliese Smith is a Project Manager. She manages CMBM project activities and deliverables for community projects in Evansville and Indianapolis, as well as the Indigenous Initiative and projects with the United States Capitol Police.
Sheliese is experienced in nonprofit development, marketing, programming, and project management. She is passionate about mind-body wellness and education, and advocates for self-care, trauma healing, and living with purpose.
Sheliese earned her BS in Public Policy with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership from Georgia State University. She also holds a graduate certification in Nonprofit Management and Social Enterprise. Originally from Queens, NY, Sheliese now lives in Maryland. In her spare time, Sheliese enjoys practicing yoga, caring for her plants, reading, volunteering at her church, and exploring nearby parks and trails to connect with nature.
