My name is Manizeh Mirza-Gruber, and I am a licensed, board-certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, in practice since 1995. After years working in community mental health, I returned to private practice in December 2017 to follow a lifelong passion of helping individuals become their best selves. As an individual, parent, and psychiatrist, I follow a holistic approach to life. I believe in connecting mind, body, and spirit for healing. I am “mindful in practice”, taking one moment at a time to help others on their journey to becoming their true and authentic self. I practice conventionally using psychotherapy and medication as needed, while also utilizing evidence-based complementary and integrative treatments, when applicable.

I focus on wellness – healthy lifestyle, stress management, exercise, and nutrition. I practice in a relaxed, unhurried environment, and strive to provide the highest level of clinical care, with compassion, respect, and empathy. My practice is fee for service.
I am a Certified Facilitator with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and have been facilitating Mind-Body Skills groups and workshops since January 2018 after my home was flooded during Hurricane Harvey.
