Marsha D. Shack

Supervisor, Certified Alumni | she/her

Marsha Shack is a member of the CMBM Supervision Team. Certified in Mind-Body Medicine, Marsha provides supervision to Certification candidates. She has experience facilitating Mind-Body Skills with people impacted by climate related natural disasters, including wildfires and floods. Marsha has had the honor of learning from and facilitating with First Nations and Métis peoples, integrating their worldview and place-based wisdom with the mind-body tools.

Marsha is a Teacher and Permaculture Designer. She has over fifteen years experience leading transformative learning experiences in Canada and abroad. Marsha leads participatory workshops on edible yards, tiny houses, self-awareness, mind-body medicine and Permaculture design for kids and curious adults. She has a knack for creating genuine connections by asking insightful questions, and holding the space to weave our voices together as a force of compassion and social change.

When Marsha isn’t planting trees or tending bees at her home in Yellowhead County, Alberta, you can find her laughing in the sunshine with her family or tucked up in her hammock completing coursework for her Masters of Education in Sustainability, Creativity, and Innovation at Cape Breton University.
